Some people can look back at their past and see distinctly when things changed for them, good or bad. I can’t recall exactly when things started getting bad for me, or when they truly became my definition of better. I have an idea of both but the memories have blended together so much I can just look back at specific times and know for sure it was in the good, or bad, category of my own personal timeline.
The world we are in has felt so hectic that separating the good from the bad seems like a chore, but it doesn't have to stay that way.
I can be confident in saying the last 6 months of my life I have been working extremely hard to have more good moments with my mental and physical health, my relationships with myself, those around me, and God. I’ve been healing from a lot of the things I have long ignored, and now I feel ready.
Ready for the hard work it will take to reach my new goals. Ready for whatever God chooses to bless or challenge me with. Ready to be the best me. Ready for what is next.
